The Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in the Kingdom of Sweden once again participated in the European Day of Languages celebration, organized by the European Commission's Representation in Stockholm. Around twenty embassies and cultural institutes from European countries took part in the event.

The European Day of Languages, held annually on September 26, promotes awareness of Europe’s linguistic and cultural diversity and encourages mutual understanding.

This year’s event featured an interactive language fair where high school students from Stockholm region visited country booths, participated in language activities, and explored new languages in an engaging setting.

At the Croatian booth, students could try out fun language games, including a quiz on unique letters in the Croatian alphabet, pronunciation of popular tongue twisters, and exploring words spelled the same in Croatian and Swedish.

The participation of the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Stockholm contributed to promoting  Croatian language and culture in Sweden and supported broader dialogue on Europe’s cultural and linguistic diversity.
