EU Day in Jakarta

In the joint organization of EU Ambassador in Indonesia, Mr. Denis Chaibi, EU Ambassador to ASEAN, Mr. Sujiro Seam, and head of the EIB regional office for Southeast Asia and the Pacific, Ms. Sunita Lukkhoo, on May 8, 2026, a formal reception was held at the Ayana Hotel in Jakarta on the occasion of Europe Day.
The event was graced by Mr. Pratikno, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Cultural Affairs of Indonesia. The celebration hosted members of the Indonesian presidential cabinet and parliament, senior government officials, representatives of the ASEAN Secretariat, diplomats from EU member states and other countries, business leaders, representatives of civil society, former students of the Erasmus program as well as media representatives.
