Who can apply?
- Croatian citizens that stayed or worked abroad or
- Foreign citizens that received the permit of temporary or permanent residence in the Republic of Croatia from the authorized body of the state administration (Ministry of Internal Affairs)
Please submit the following:
- Completed and signed application (Zahtjev za izdavanje potvrde o boravku i radu)
- Croatian passport
- US ID (driver's license, passport...)
- Proof of residence in the USA for at least for 1 year prior to moving to Croatia (eg. income tax return issued by IRS, SSN Statement, letter from employer…)
- Proof of Residence in Croatia
Consular fees are reviewed every six months due to the exchange rate between EURO and the U.S. dollar. For the exact amount of the consular fee, please contact the competent consular office responsible for your place of residence prior to submitting your application. Payment is made by personal check, cashier’s check or money order.
