This year, our brilliant young roboticists once again participated in the RoboCup world robotics competition, which is being held in Incheon from 2 to 6 July. Ten competitors, six mentors and five support staff arrived from Croatia, all led by Mr Ivica Kolarić, a national representative for the RoboCup Junior organization. Young roboticists from Croatia represented strong competition to teams from 45 countries. The
NLO Rescue CRO Team won the trophy in the SuperTeam category in the rescue robot discipline, and the
ZG-AP Robotics team won the Community Award in the football robot discipline with cameras.
The young roboticists from Croatia were supported by Ambassador Dr Kušen and staff of the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Seoul. It was also an opportunity for the Ambassador to talk with the World RoboCup leadership, whom he has been acquainted with for years.
