The Day of the Croatian Statehood and Armed Forces was held at the finest hotel in Jakarta, The Four Seasons. The turnout at the highest level of officials of the Republic of Indonesia was exceptional: the President of the Senate, the Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Trade, four deputy ministers, numerous former ministers, representatives and senators. In the speech of the Minister of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Budi Santos, who spoke on behalf of the administration of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Subianto Prabowo, the excellent interstate relations at all levels and the mutual commitment to the existing principles of international relations were highlighted. Among the four hundred guests, the majority were members of the diplomatic, political and business elite of Indonesia, as well as a small number of members of the Croatian community. The organization of an event of this level was made possible by the sponsorship of a dozen large Indonesian companies and Honorary Consuls of the Republic of Croatia.
