Croatian representatives participated in the World Holiday Show in Dublin

The largest tourism fair in Ireland, the World Holiday Show, was held in Dublin from 24 to 26 January 2025. The Republic of Croatia was represented at the fair by Bisera Fabrio, Head of the Croatian National Tourist Board Office in London, Anamarija Radovnikovic from the Split-Dalmatia County Tourist Board, Maja Radman from the Šolta Tourist Board, Bianka Jasprica from the Janjina Tourist Board and Petra Vuknić from the Dubrovnik Tourist Board. Ambassador Davor Vidiš visited the fair on behalf of the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Irealnd.

Around a thousand exhibitors participated in the fair, and visitors could obtain information about flights to the USA and Canada, distant tourist destinations such as Colombia, Peru, Cuba, Malaysia, cruise trips, "sunny" trips in Europe - Spain, Portugal, Croatia or Cyprus, tourist arrangements within Ireland, as well as information on visas and travel documentation.

Due to the many air connections between Croatia and Ireland, there are over 100,000 Irish tourists in Croatia every year, with a record year of 111,088 Irish tourists visiting Croatia in 2019.

Given the large number of direct flights between Croatia and Ireland operated by Ryanair, Croatia Airlines and Aer Lingus, there is great potential in further promoting Croatia as a tourist destination in Ireland. The average overnight stay of tourists from Ireland is 4 to 5 days, and they tend to visit several cities during their stay, with a strong emphasis on visiting Dubrovnik. Therefore, it is useful to promote other parts of Croatia, such as Zadar County, Split-Dalmatia County or Istria, in order to expand the network of visitors and attract tourists from the Irish market for a longer period.
