A delegation from Croatia, led by the Minister of Tourism and Sports Mr Tonči Glavina and director of Croatian Tourist Board Mr Kristjan Staničić participated at the World Travel Market 2024 in London, where our country traditionally presented its tourist offer.
The new stand design at the ExCel exhibition centre presents Croatia as a destination of true beauty that has managed to preserve its authenticity.
Minister Glavina and Croatian MEP Ms Nikolina Brnjac participated at the Ministerial Summit "Artificial Intelligence for Good in Tourism: Exploring AI and Emerging Technologies" which took place on 6 November, during the WTM 2024.
This year by the end of October 820,000 tourist arrived in Croatia from the British market, and they generated 4 million overnight stays, which was 9% and 8% more than in 2023. The most of the annual turnover is generated in Dubrovnik-Neretva and Split-Dalmatia counties and in terms of locations in: Dubrovnik, Split, Konavle, Župa Dubrovačka, Zadar and Rovinj.
The new exhibition space was also visited by Chargé d'Affaires of the Croatian Embassy in London, Mr Davor Ljubanović.
WTM London, as the world largest tourism event, is taking place from 5 to 7 November 2024, with thousands of exhibitors from all over the world.
