Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman participated in the International Conference in support of Lebanon's People and Sovereignty in Paris on Thursday, October 24, 2024. The conference, organized at the initiative of French President Emmanuel Macron, gathered representatives from Lebanon’s partner states, the United Nations and European Union, as well as from international regional organizations and civil society organizations. Participants discussed, among other topics, ways to coordinate aid delivery to Lebanon.
In his address, Grlić Radman emphasized Croatia’s commitment to supporting Lebanon’s stability and security by providing €350,000 in emergency humanitarian assistance. “Together, we must work towards a peaceful resolution of conflicts in the Middle East and a sustainable future for all,” the minister said. He concluded by underscoring the importance of international coordination, solidarity among partner nations, and timely provision of adequate financial and humanitarian support to genuinely assist the Lebanese people.
