Minister Grlić Radman at Luxembourg meeting on support for Ukraine

On Monday, October 14, 2024, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman attended the Foreign Affairs Council in Luxembourg. On this occasion, he informed his colleagues about the results of the recent Southeast Europe-Ukraine summit held in Dubrovnik, reminding them that the Dubrovnik Declaration was adopted during the summit as an important political document. The declaration confirms, among other things, the readiness to support Ukraine on its path toward Euro-Atlantic integration.

"I informed my colleagues about Croatia's ongoing support for Ukraine and highlighted that we hosted the third Ukraine-Southeast Europe summit, where Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed an Agreement on long-term cooperation and support for Ukraine," said Grlić Radman.

For the first time since Brexit, the British Foreign Secretary, David Lammy, joined the meeting of EU foreign ministers. Minister Grlić Radman emphasized that Croatia strongly advocates for deepening relations with the United Kingdom, which remains a key partner in the Western Balkans.
