The Opening of the Consulate of the Republic of Croatia in Makassar, South Sulawesi and the Celebration of the Statehood Day of the Republic of Croatia

In the presence of the highest local officials of the South Sulawesi province, the city of Makassar, the local business and scientific elite and the local consular corps, the Consulate of the Republic of Croatia in Makassar was opened on June 7, headed by the Honorary Consul. At the opening, the Honorary Consul Mr. Munafri Arifuddin, Acting Governor of the Province, Prof. dr. Zudan Arif Fakrullah and Director-General Dr. Petar Mihatov, who held Political Consultations with the Indonesian side a day earlier in Bali, held appropriate speeches. This opened the second of four honorary consulates of the Republic of Croatia in Indonesia. On this occasion, a ceremony was held to celebrate the Statehood Day of the Republic of Croatia as well.
