On May 29th, the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in the Republic of Finland in Helsinki celebrated the Statehood Day and the fifteenth anniversary of the Republic of Croatia's membership in NATO, in the year when NATO celebrates its 75th anniversary. The anniversary of Croatian membership is a confirmation of the continuation of the strong Croatian presence within the Euro-Atlantic security structures. On that occasion, a musical performance by Croatian guitarists Trio Evocacion was held in the House of Nobility, a well-known historical institution of the Finnish nobility in the centre of Helsinki. The musical program included compositions by Croatian composers Frano Parać and Marko Ruždjak, as well as compositions by Spanish composers Isaac Albeniz and Manuel de Falla and Ukrainian composer Miroslav Skorik. This cultural event was attended by about a hundred guests, members of the diplomatic corps, prominent representatives of Finnish cultural organizations, state bodies and agencies, as well as a small number of Croats.
