9th EUSAIR Forum takes place

Today, the 9th Forum of the EU Strategy for the Adriatic-Ionian Region (EUSAIR) was held in Šibenik. This exceptionally important event brought together representatives from across the region to advance cooperation and development in this macro-regional area. The Forum provided an opportunity for the exchange of ideas and solutions that will aid in building sustainable development, enhancing economic competitiveness, and fostering social cohesion among participating countries.

During today's ministerial meeting of the Adriatic-Ionian Initiative (AII) and EUSAIR, the Šibenik Declaration was adopted, reflecting our common achievements and goals for the future. This declaration emphasizes our commitment to the implementation of the Strategy and Initiative and sets out guidelines for further steps in strengthening cooperation among participating countries.

Croatia is concluding its EUSAIR/AII presidency, handing over the duty to Greek partners. Through the TRIO, Croatia will continue to closely collaborate with Greek counterparts to collectively achieve the goals of the Strategy.

The Forum provided an opportunity for deep and constructive exchange of views on important issues and challenges we face. We are confident that the conclusions of this meeting will contribute to further strengthening our cooperation and improving the implementation of the goals of the Strategy and Initiative.
