SCHOLARSHIPS FOR COLLEGE OF EUROPE

Based on the Memorandum of Understanding on the Establishment of a National Scholarship Programme, the Formation of a Selection Committee, and Further Cooperation, signed between the Government of the Republic of Croatia and the College of Europe in 2023, the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia is continuing the scholarship programme for the academic programmes of the College of Europe for Croatian citizens this year as well.

The scholarship for all three campuses (Bruges, Natolin, and Tirana) of the College of Europe covers full tuition fees, meals, and accommodation. The amount also includes study trips for the Natolin and Tirana campuses, while for Bruges the costs of study trips are partially covered.

The College of Europe was established on the initiative of the Hague Congress in 1949 and is the oldest postgraduate institute for European studies. The founders’ intention was to create an institution where graduates from various European countries could study and live together, preparing for careers related to European cooperation and integration. Since 1992, the College has operated on two campuses — one in Bruges, Belgium, and the other in Natolin, Warsaw, Poland — while last year a third campus was established in Tirana, Albania.

Applications for the 2026/2027 academic year opened on 15 October 2025. Interested candidates may apply until 14 January 2026. More information on applications and the selection procedure can be found at the following links:
