Dalmatian Islands Environment Foundation

A meeting was held in the library of Conway Hall in London, about the new Dalmatian Islands Environment Foundation. The members of the British-Croatian Society gathered at the lecture by the well-known ecologist Ben Goldsmith. Members of BCS pointed out that they have been spending their vacations on the Croatian coast for decades and they want to help preserve the natural environment of the Adriatic islands.

The foundation should become part of the worldwide Conservation Collective Network that is raising funds for the protection of nature.

It was pointed out that that a lot can be achieved with relatively small amount of money in such projects, because of the power of nature where it takes just a bit of intervention for its recovery.
