Croatia strongly condemns Russia's aggression against Ukraine

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia Andrej Plenković pointed: “Croatia, as the only NATO and European Union member state was a victim of the brutal military aggression of the Milosevic regime three decades ago knows best what it means and fully understands Ukraine, to which the Croatian Government once again expresses its full solidarity. In December 1991, Ukraine was the first member of the United Nations to recognize Croatia's independence, and we all know very well how much that meant to us at the time. "Now that Ukraine is a victim of aggression, it is up to Croatia to be on the right side, on the side of peace, freedom, democracy, solidarity and international law."
As a sign of solidarity with Ukraine, Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Tirana hoisted the Ukrainian flag today.
