Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman on Friday held talks with the Director of OECD Global Relations, Andreas Schaal.
Grlić Radman underlined that OECD membership was one of Croatia’s strategic objectives and that the country is fully committed to meeting its obligations. He stressed that Croatia’s drawing closer to the OECD standards had an important effect on the already launched reform processes at the national level.
Schaal attended a meeting with an interdepartmental task force working on preparations for accession to the OECD. The participants discussed preparing the Action Plan for Croatia’s cooperation with the OECD and the country’s progress along the path to membership.
This visit is an indicator of the continuing good cooperation between Croatia and the OECD, particularly following the ministerial conference of the OECD Council in October, which was attended by Economy and Sustainable Development Minister Tomislav Ćorić, Finance Minister Zdravko Marić and Foreign Minister Grlić Radman.
