The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs is closely following the developments in Montenegro.
Montenegro is a neighbour with whom we have good and well-developed relations. Croatia also strongly supports Montenegro’s European integration.
In light of that, we expect all political protagonists in Montenegro to resolve all the issues facing the Montenegrin society in the European spirit and through inclusive and constructive political dialogue.
We condemn any form of violence and expect all protagonists to contribute to defusing the tensions and maintaining peace and order in the country. We are hopeful that the current situation will not adversely affect the position of the Croat community in Montenegro.
