State Secretary for Political Affairs Frano Matušić attended on behalf of Croatia the “Virtuosos V4 +”, held 22 July in Budapest, with Croatia as a special guest.
“Virtuosos” is a project launched seven years ago with the aim of discovering and presenting young talents in the field of classical music. This year, for the first time, Croatia participated as a special guest alongside countries of the Visegrád Group (V4). The event was an opportunity to present Croatia’s rich culture and talented youth, as well as to promote classical music and young talents from five EU member states. Matušić, who is also the president of the Croatian Association of Music and Dance Pedagogues, presented the award to the Croatian winner. Also in attendance was Croatian Ambassador to Hungary Mladen Andrlić.
