Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman on Sunday received attendees of the Little School of Croatian Language and Culture from Janjevo, who are staying in Croatia.
This year’s Little School is taking place 19-30 July in Novi Vinodolski, organized by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs in cooperation with the Croatian Heritage Foundation. The programme features Croatian language workshops, learning about the Croatian history and cultural heritage, as well as field workshops.
The projects aims to support the Croatian community in Janjevo and addresses in particular the preservation of Croatian culture, language and overall identity. The Little School of Croatian Language and Culture has had a continuous run since 1993 and to date saw the participation of more than 1500 children from more than 30 countries.
