The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs on Monday commemorated the Croatian Diplomacy Day. On 7 June 879, Pope John VIII in a letter to Duke Branimir recognized the sovereignty of medieval Croatia.
Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman presented diplomas to the attendees of the 14th two-month diplomatic course and the 21st generation of the one-year diplomatic study at the Diplomatic Academy.
Addressing the event, the minister outlined Croatia’s foreign policy priorities and the efforts of the Croatian diplomacy to implement the main activities during the previous year. He also announced the numerous challenging tasks and goals that lay ahead of our diplomacy, wishing the attendees success in their future endeavours.
The handing over of diplomas took place in accordance with the epidemiological measures.
