Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman on Friday participated in a high-level videoconference on the second anniversary of the Christchurch Call to Eliminate Terrorist and Violent Extremist Content Online.
The initiative was launched by New Zealand and France in 2019, following a terrorist attack in Christchurch, New Zealand. It aims to institute cooperation between governments and the tech industry in fighting terrorist and violent extremist content online. Its core values are the respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms, including the freedom of speech, as well as a safe and open internet.
Strongly supporting all of its aspects, Croatia has officially joined the community of countries and tech giants that support the initiative.
