Organized by China Radio International and hosted by Beijing Urban Planning Museum the Chinese Innovative City Summit was held on December 12th, in which the awards to the most successful 2012 Chinese City Ranking were presented.
Organized by China Radio International and hosted by Beijing Urban Planning Museum the Chinese Innovative City Summit was held on December 12th, in which the awards to the most successful 2012 Chinese City Ranking were presented.
The summit brought together mayors and other officials and leading experts in the fields of urban planning, architecture and community activities, which discussed the key issues of development and management of cities and on innovation as a prerequisite for success and further progress. In the context of the increasingly complex challenges and problems that life in cities poses, urgent and long-term solutions were discussed and proposed.
Ambassador Ante Simonić presented the award to the representative of the City of Beijing, which is this year's winner in the online poll and which received the highest number among votes of the total of 1.7 million voters.
