The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs strongly condemns the scandalous act by a member of a delegation led by the state secretary at the Serbian Ministry of State Administration and Local Self-Government during a visit to Croatia, as well as the message that grossly insults Croatia and promotes the defeated ideas of a Greater Serbia.
We especially regret that such unacceptable statements were made by a person who was part of an official Serbian delegation, for which we expect an official apology and unequivocal distancing.
The Police Administration of Šibenik-Knin County is investigating all the fact and circumstances to define further action within their competence.
The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs will sent a protest note to the Serbian Embassy in Zagreb.
