Foreign and European Affairs Minister Gordan Grlić Radman on Monday said that Croatia is talking with all countries so that the criterion for red lists is based on regions.
“We are talking with all countries about regionally differentiating Croatia, clusters aren't the same everywhere," which is why it is important to differentiate unsafe locations from safe ones, Grlić Radman told reporters in Bled, Slovenia.
Five European foreign ministers and EU High Representative for foreign and security policy, Josep Borrell are set to meet later on Monday to discuss the future of Europe at the Bled Strategic Forum.
Grlić Radman said that the forum would discuss the corona crisis and the "lessons learned, what standards have been adopted and how to deal with the crisis in the future," adding that "as much communication, solidarity and cooperation as possible" is needed.
He underlined that Croatia is endeavouring to create safe epidemiological conditions for all tourists in Croatia and that anyone who wishes to spend their vacation in Croatia should be enabled to do so.
"The month ahead is the time for nautical tourism. If you are on a boat, there is no virus there," the minister said and added that it is in Croatia's interest to have safe and healthy tourists.
