Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman attended on 29 August 2020 as an envoy of Prime Minister Andrej Plenković the 25th Days of Croatian Film “Ivo Gregurević” in Orašje.

The Croatian Government is the sponsor of this important cultural event that brings together the dramatic art greats, actors, directors, screenwriters and dignitaries from the public, political and cultural circles.

The Days of Croatian Film were established in Orašje in 1995 by the late great actor Ivo Gregurević in order to present the contemporary Croatian production and promote Croatian culture in his native Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“By founding the Days of Croatian Film, Ivo reminded us about the individual’s responsibility for his own birthplace, the area we draw inspiration from. Thanks to Ivo’s uncompromising nature and vision, Orašje can now be proud to host a film festival of the highest quality,” Grlić Radman said in his keynote address.

Ahead of the event, the minister held talks with Prime Minister of the Posavina Canton Đuro Topić, and laid a wreath and lit a candle at Ivo Gregurević’s grave.
