The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, in coordination with the Croatian Consulate-General in Trieste and the Croatian Embassy in Rome, arranged with the relevant Italian state institutions and regional authorities of Trentino Alto Adige, Friuli Venezia Giulia and Veneto the second repatriation of Croatian nationals. Two buses and six vans with 76 Croatian nationals, 16 nationals of Bosnia and Herzegovina, four nationals or Serbia and two Hungarians arrived in Croatia.

As on previous occasion, most of the repatriated nationals were volunteers and workers of the "Naši snovi" (Our Dreams) association for children with special needs.

In total, 219 Croatians have been brought back from Italy aboard a plane, two catamarans and a bus. A number of Croatians have also left Italy individually, with the assistance from the embassy in Rome and consulates-general in Trieste and Milan.

The ministry would like to thank the Italian authorities for helping with the repatriation and will continue to bring nationals back to Croatia through its diplomatic and consular network.
