Foreign and European Affairs Minister Gordan Grlić Radman 23 January 2020 held talks with Hungary’s Minister of Justice Judit Varga, who was visiting Zagreb for an informal meeting of EU justice and interior ministers. The two officials reflected on the first weeks of the Croatian Presidency and exchanged views on the Multiannual Financial Framework and rule of law.
Grlić Radman and Varga discussed the future of Europe and challenges in the areas of economy (digitalization and infrastructure) and demographics. They underscored satisfaction with the intensity of Croatia-Hungary cooperation in various areas.
