Foreign and European Affairs Minister 16 January 2020 held talks with the Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), Angel Gurria

Foreign and European Affairs Minister 16 January 2020 held talks with the Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), Angel Gurria.

The two officials discussed the priorities of Croatia’s Council of the EU presidency and its OECD accession. Gurria commended the commitment Croatia had shown by intensifying participation in various working bodies.

“Croatia is working hard to meet the OECD membership criteria. Joining this organization is extremely beneficial for development and the implementation of reforms. It is one of our top national priorities”, Grlić Radman underlined.

After the meeting with Gurria, Grlić Radman informed the OECD Council about Croatia’s EU presidency priorities. The collocutors exchanged views on the challenges, capabilities and best practices of their countries. Grlić Radman afterwards attended a high-level forum on migration and integration challenges.
