State secretary attends opening of Vukovarska ulica in Bratislava

State Secretary for European Affairs Zdravka Bušić attended the opening of Vukovarska ulica (Vukovar Street) in Bratislava’s municipality of Devinska Nová Ves

State Secretary for European Affairs Zdravka Bušić attended the opening of Vukovarska ulica (Vukovar Street) in Bratislava’s municipality of Devinska Nová Ves. The street sign was ceremoniously unveiled by the Mayor of Vukovar and envoy of the Croatian president, Ivan Penava, and Devinska Nová Ves Head Darius Krajčir.

Also present were Croatian Ambassador to Slovakia Aleksandar Heina, Deputy Head of the State Office for Croatians Abroad Croatia Dario Magdić, member of the Croatian Government’s Council for Croatians Abroad Croatia Radoslav Janković, as well as numerous members of the Croatian minority in Slovakia and their Slovak friends.

Slovakia is the first country within the EU, apart from Croatia, to get a Vukovar street.
