State Secretary Andreja Metelko-Zgombić 24 October 2019 held consultations with the Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister and Director for EU Affairs, Faruk Kaymakci. The two officials expressed satisfaction with the excellent relations between Croatia and Turkey, as well as with the dynamic of bilateral visits and meetings in 2019, underscoring the possibility of additionally intensifying economic cooperation and trade. The consultations were held in view of Croatia’s upcoming EU chairmanship.
