Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman 3 October 2019 received on inaugural visit the non-residential Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Croatia, Annamammet Annayev.
The two officials expressed satisfaction with the bilateral relations between Croatia and Turkmenistan, underlining desire for their additional strengthening. They reflected on the successful shipbuilding projects, highlighting the potential for continuing the cooperation in that area, as well as in education and culture.
Grlić Radman commended the progress in the EU-Turkmenistan relations, notably in light of the Strategy for Central Asia and the Agreement on the Opening of EU Delegation in Ashgabat.
