Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman 19 September 2019 received on inaugural visit the Bulgarian Ambassador to Croatia, Genka Vasileva Georgieva.
The two officials underlined the very close and friendly relations between Croatia and Bulgaria, bolstered by a number of recent high-level visits.
Grlić Radman said that the two countries shared the same foreign-policy goals and similar views on EU matters such as cohesion, the next MFF and migrations.
The minister and the ambassador also talked about Bulgaria’s experiences with chairing the Council of the EU and preparations for Croatia’s first chairmanship, as well as the situation in the region of Southeast Europe and EU enlargement.
