State Secretary for European Affairs Andreja Metelko-Zgombić 8 August 2019 received the outgoing Canadian ambassador, Daniel Maksymiuk.
The two officials underlined satisfaction with the development of friendly relations between the two countries, additionally linked by the large Croatian community in Canada. Metelko-Zgombić and Maksymiuk reflected on the high-level visits, which are further proof of the two countries’ partnership and alliance. They voiced desire to continue strengthening bilateral cooperation, notably in the area of economy.
