Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Marija Pejčinović Burić 28 February 2019 received on farewell visit the ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Croatia, Keiji Takiguchi.
The two officials expressed satisfaction with the level of friendly relations between Croatia and Japan, underlining the prospect of their further intensification, notably in the area of economy after the signing of the Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement in October 2018.
Takiguchi highlighted the two countries’ very good parliamentary cooperation, expressing satisfaction with the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations and the number of events that have been organized.
