Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Marija Pejčinović Burić 4 February 2019 received the incoming ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Aly Sirry.
The two officials underlined friendly relations between Croatia and Egypt, based on mutual understanding as well as successful bilateral and multilateral cooperation. They wished for the two countries’ political and cultural ties to grow even stronger, highlighting the importance of further strengthening the economic cooperation.
