Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Marija Pejčinović Burić 23 November 2018 met with Chinese Deputy Prime Minister Sun Chunlan, who was visiting Croatia.
The visit is the continuation of the strong political dialogue between the two states and a contribution to concrete cooperation in areas of mutual interest. Both officials expressed the desire to further intensify bilateral relations in culture, tourism, sports, education and healthcare.
Pejčinović Burić underscored the importance of Croatia’s hosting a China+16 summit next year. Relations with China will get additional impetus in 2019, the year of culture and tourism, for which both countries are preparing projects.
