Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Marija Pejčinović Burić 18 October 2018 received on inaugural visit the Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to the Republic of Croatia, Emilija Georgieva.
The two officials highlighted the good and friendly relations between their countries, in which important role is played by the Croat community in Switzerland. Pejčinović Burić and Georgieva talked about the implementation of the mine action project in Sisak-Moslavina County, which is a part of a Swiss-Croatian program of cooperation in reducing economic and social inequalities within the enlarged European Union.
Pejčinović Burić and Georgieva said they wished for cooperation to intensify, notably in the areas of trade and investment.
