State Secretary Zdravka Bušić 28 September 2018 received on farewell visit the non-residential ambassador of the Lao People's Democratic Republic to the Republic of Croatia, Phoukhao Phommavongsa.
The two officials underlined the very good bilateral relations between Croatia and Laos, adding there was room for further advancing cooperation, notably in the areas of education, tourism, mine action, and transfer of technological know-how and experience.
Phommavongsa, on behalf of the Lao government, was wishful that a Croatian delegation pays the highest-level bilateral visit to Laos.
Bušić thanked Phommavongsa for the excellent cooperation and wished him success in his future endeavours.
