Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Marija Pejčinović Burić 19 April 2018 met with the Minister President of Baden-Württemberg, Winfried Kretschmann.
The two officials confirmed the good bilateral relations and underscored the importance of further developing cooperation between Croatia and Baden-Württemberg, where according to official data 112,000 Croat citizens live. They also discussed the EU’s Strategy for the Danube Region and the prospects of strengthening bilateral economic cooperation.
Pejčinović Burić and Kretschmann exchanged views on the future development of the EU and European integration of Southeast European countries. The Croatian minister highlighted Croatia’s support to SEE countries in their EU integration processes, with a special emphasis on the status of Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
