State Secretary for Political Affairs Zdravka Bušić 1 February 2018 received Ukraine’s parliamentary delegation, headed by MP Andriy Teteruk, as well as representatives of Ukrainian state institutions, who were on a four-day working visit to Croatia as part of OSCE’s Building Ukrainian Humanitarian Mine Action Capacity project.
Bušić familiarized the Ukrainian delegation with the current political issues as well as the activities and goals of the Working Group for Croatian-Ukrainian Cooperation, underscoring the importance Croatia places on a peaceful solution to the Ukrainian crisis, with a full implementation of the Minsk Agreement.
The Croatian side expressed support for the implementation of reforms so far as well as the measures from the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement. Talking about the reforms in Ukraine, the collocutors stressed the possibility of cooperation between the Croatian-Ukrainian Working Group and the European Commission’s Support Group for Ukraine.
