Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Marija Pejčinović Burić attended 13 November 2017 in Brussels a meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council (FAC).
On the sidelines of the meeting, Pejčinović Burić and Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Damir Krstičević signed on behalf of the Republic of Croatia a notification for joining the Permanent Structured Cooperation (PESCO). The launching of PESCO was an important step in further European integration in the area of security and defence as well as towards permanent strengthening of Europe’s defence capacities.
