Organized by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Zagreb 24 and 25 August hosted the annual conference of ambassadors, consuls general and chargés d'affaires in Croatia.

Addresses were delivered by Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, Parliament Speaker Gordan Jandroković, Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, deputy prime minister and government members, representatives of state institutions, and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Marija Pejčinović Burić as the conference’s host. The conference discussed priority goals and activities of Croatia’s foreign policy and foreign affairs service. The participants also talked about Croatia’s positioning in the complex global geopolitical context as well as the best ways to promote national foreign-policy and economic priorities, with emphasis on the current security challenges, the synergy of culture, education and diplomacy, as well as ties with expat Croats.

The conference was attended by 89 ambassadors, consuls general, chargés d'affaires and consuls gérant.
