State Secretary for European Affairs Marija Pejčinović Burić 30 May 2017 in Vienna held political consultations with Ambassador Michael Linhart, Secretary-General at Austria’s Federal Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs.
The two officials reviewed the current status of Croatia-Austria bilateral relations, defining room for further strengthening of cooperation in political, economic and cultural sense.
Pejčinović Burić and Linhart also discussed various Europe-related topics of mutual interest, such as the future of the EU in light of Brexit, migrations and European prospect of Southeast European countries, and exchanged opinions about organizing the Council of the European Union presidency.
