State Secretary for European Affairs Marija Pejčinović Burić 27 April 2017 in Luxembourg attended a meeting of the General Affairs Council (Article 50 format).
On the agenda was a discussion on the Brexit talks guidelines, with a view to preparing for the European Council meeting in its 27 format scheduled for 29 April in Brussels.
Pejčinović Burić underlined the importance Croatia placed on ensuring the equality of Croatian citizens with the rest of EU-27 living and working in the UK.
The state secretary pointed out once again the seriousness of the situation caused by the systematic control being implemented on the EU internal borders, affecting the free movement of persons and goods in Croatia.
