The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia regrets the death of one and the wounding of two OSCE observers in Ukraine and expresses its condolences to the members of the families, friends and colleagues of the victims.
The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine represents an important instrument in the efforts to establish peace and security in Ukraine and plays a vital role in the implementation of the Minsk Agreements. Without security OSCE would not be able to implement its mandate on the ground which would hinder further continuance of the political process that would render a sustainable solution to the crisis in Ukraine.
