State Secretary for European Affairs Marija Pejčinović Burić 7 March 2017 in Brussels attended a meeting of the General Affair Council (GAC).
The meeting focused on preparations for and conclusions from the European Council meeting scheduled for 9 and 10 March 2017 in Brussels, which will cover economic issues (employment, growth, competitiveness and trade), security and defence, as well as migration and external relations.
The meeting reached a general agreement on the middle-term revision of the 2014-2020 Multiannual Financial Framework, to be sent to the European parliament for consent.
