State Secretary for Political Affairs Zdravka Bušić 2 March 2017 held talks with Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Ahmet Yildiz, who was in Zagreb for an informal meeting of the foreign ministers of the South East European Cooperation Process (SEECP).
The two officials agreed that the relations between Croatia and Turkey, two NATO allies, were friendly and with no outstanding issues. The discussed the prospects of their further advancement through a more intensive political cooperation as well as economic and cultural exchange. Bušić underlined that the two countries’ cooperation was also important in terms of strengthening peace and stability in Southeast Europe.
