Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Miro Kovač will be paying an official visit to the Republic of Austria 31 March and 1 April.
On 31 March, Kovač is to meet in Eisenstadt with Governor of the Burgenland Hans Niessel, Eisenstadt Bishop Mgr. Ägidius Zsifkovics and representatives of the Burgenland Croats.
On Friday, 1 April, Kovač will hold talks in Vienna with his counterpart, Federal Minister for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs Sebastian Kurz. A press conference is scheduled afterwards.
Kovač is also to meet with Federal Minister of the Interior Johanna Mikl-Leitner, Chair of the Austrian Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee Josef Cap and members of the Austrian-Croatian Parliamentary Friendship Group.
During the visit to Vienna, Kovač is also scheduled to meet with former chancellor Wolfgang Schüssel and representatives of Croatian associations in Austria, and will deliver a lecture at the Diplomatic Academy on “Kroatien: Ein Land and der Schnittstelle zwischen Mittel- und Südosteuropa”.
