Deputy Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Joško Klisović held bilateral consultations with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Josip Brkić

Deputy Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Joško Klisović held bilateral consultations with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Josip Brkić. The talks focused on Bosnia’s European integration following the EU’s new approach and applauded Bosnia’s reform efforts to that end, on which Brkić reported in detail. The two officials also discussed meeting the three criteria for submitting a valid EU membership candidate application. Klisović underlined Croatia’s support for Bosnia’s European aspiration, adding Croatia would continue to offer expert assistance through the MFEA Centre of Excellence. Also discussed were bilateral issues, notably further advancement of economic cooperation. Klisović and Brkić also agreed on the dynamic of intensifying the bilateral relations through meetings on expert and political level, including cooperation in numerous security issues, in accordance with the two countries’ foreign policy priorities.
