Assistant Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Vesna Batistić Kos chaired the 33rd meeting of the steering body of RACVIAC – Centre for Security Cooperation, held 22 April 2015 at RACVIAC Rakitje headquarters.
Batistić Kos congratulated RACVIAC on its 15th anniversary of existence and commitment to strengthening security cooperation in Southeast Europe. She underlined that Croatia was pleased and honoured to host such a unique regional organization, expressing support for RACVIAC’s modernization in accordance with new challenges as well as interests and needs of the member states.
A Turkish candidate was elected as the new RACVIAC director and is to take office in October 2015. The meeting also saw the adoption of important documents pertaining to RACVIAC’s future activities and 2015-2020 strategies.
